Error message while running jcwde or apdutool

I just installed JCWDE and APDUtoool.
I got an error message as follows while running jcwde/apdutool. Could anyone advise me any clue to solve it?

"ME" is not an internal/external commanf, execution file or batch file?

This is a wild guess, but do you have spaces in your directory/classpaths ? If so, put quotes around them or rename them. The JC Tools don't like spaces in directory/ classpaths.
