If anyone had an experience with a new Schlumberger Cyberflex Access Software Development Kit 4.3?

Based on their previous ATTEMPTS to provide a workable kit I will not spend another minute on Schlumberger.

Remember:

  • THERE'S NO SIMULATOR. There's no way to simulate Global Platform, security, or any Java Card Framework implementation. It's just a LOADER.

  • Their CAP files AREN'T Java Card compliant. They provide a .JAR file that you must use instead of the CAP file that they generate. ( Try running Sun's VerifyCap tool and see for yourself ) This is an issue when trying to port to other platforms.

  • Proprietary middleware. NO OCF implementation. HUGE deployment issues from this.

  • Horrible support, visit( http://www.flexforum.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=list&forum=cybactools&conf=cyberflexaccess ) and look at their replies !

  • You get what you pay for. It's the cheapest kit for a reason.

I can recommend you an awesome kit with the best simulator on the market. (email me for I don't want to post it here )
