I have had a lot of trouble using Orbix to get Java
to talk to C++. After the latest difficulty, and the
difficulty in getting support, I have decided to look
for something else. I am currently partial to the
ORB/POA that come standard in JDK 1.4 for the Java
side, and TAO for the C++ side.

I would like to know if the JDK 1.4 implementation is
any good, whether it is in real use. I am sure others
will find your opinions useful, please consider sending them.
