I need to parse sql92 conditional expressions to create MessageSelectors in SomnifugiJMS. (See the JMS spec, 3.8.1.1 if you want gritty details of what goes in the expressions.)

I'd like to use a compiler compiler (ANTLR, JavaCC, any others worth looking at?) and to bend someone else's SQL92 def to my will. What should I use as a starting point?

Thanks,

Dave

Hi David,

Check out OpenJMS, which uses ANTLR for its selector implementation. We are in the process of moving OpenJMS from exolab to sourceforge, but you can find the latest release build at https://sourceforge.net/projects/openjms

You can get the source download from here

The parser is located in the src/main/org/exolab/jms/selector directory.

Regards

Tim
