I am using the JDBC:ODBC bridge to connect to an MS access database. Everytime i need to make a call to the database, i create a connection using DriverManager.getConnection(dsn) function. and then close it once the query has been executed. I know this is costly in terms of efficiency. what would be the best design in my situation. My application is a web application running on Tomcat. Is there a way i can check if there are any connections left open? It seems that after some usage my application seems to either slow down or freeze when a database hit is required. I could really use some comments and suggestions. Thanks Poorav    More>>
