There r lot of resources on xml technology. Some of them r as follows:

Best Book ever i found on xml is : Professional XML by wrox.

Best websites :

1. w3cshools.com (teaches u from scratch with simple
examples)

2. xml.com

3. topxml.com

4. If u have passion then read xml 1.0 specification on
w3c.org.

Download:

1. Java XML Developer Pack from www.java.sun.com/xml
or jaxp 1.1. It has xml implementatin in form java apis. It also contain SAX Parser and DOM Parser. These parsers r used to read and write xml documents.

2. XML SPY 4.0 (An IDE for XML authoring) free trial version is available for 30 days.

Instructions for good xml study:

* Try to understand purpose of xml.

* Try to understand difference between structure and
information and what r markup languages.

* Try to understand what is SAX Parser and DOM Parser

* Try to run samples of dev pack or jaxp.

* Read different articles on each topic of xml.

If u still feel some problems or wanna to discuss any topic then u can mail me at irfanmansha@hotmail.com.

I hope it would be helpful for u.

take care,

Irfan Mansha.
