run Ant

I've installed Ant and am trying to run it. I'm using windows 2000 OS and JDK 1.3 I had installed Tomcat 4.0.3 and when i tried to run Ant i get the following error:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Tomcat

Recently i uninstalled tomcat. The error still persists. What could be wrong ? I'm unable to run Ant.

Could anyone provide some help on this.

This problem generaly caused by you CLASSPATH=.....ant.jar. Tell us your classpath setting.
Or set the classpath for ant.jar correct.
