Hi, We are experiencing a strange problem with Weblogic 6.1 server. We have found that not all the messages are delivered in the persistent mode. What we had done was, we had kept the listener off. Then we sent messages continuosly (around 26000 messages) with the parameters of weblogic set to maximum messages. Now, when we started our listener after all the messages were sent, we saw that the client stopped gathering messages after around 20000 messages. Hi,

We are experiencing a strange problem with Weblogic 6.1 server.

These 20000 messages were logged properly to a file by our listener. We then restarted the client. After restarting the client started gathering messages between 20000 to 26000 (displayed on console via System.out), however they were not logged to file as our listener was supposed to do.

Where do these messages go then?

The weblogic console showed at all times that it had received 26000 msgs. Also, as the listener kept consuming messages, the bytes pending count did decrease. But later msgs (after client was restarted) were not logged at all.

Also, why did the listener block in between?

Thanks in advance,

ManRaj.

without looking at your source code of the listener, I am guess your o/s file I/O encountered some sort of error (file too big?).
