We have several WebStart-launched applications which connect to various EJB services on our (Borland) AppServer - these have been working fine using an NT client - as soon as we tried it on Win2000 we started to see connection errors (the ubuquitous OBJECT_NOT_EXIST error)

This suggests that the Web Start app is fuddling the JVM startup line on Win2k - the same JNLP works on NT

Any ideas ???
