What are the message header setters for ?

ie. JMS API provides functions for setting the message headers.

Since these headers are overwritten by the send() function, there is no use in setting the headers.
Then why are these functions provided ?

Why would one set the header for a message that is received ?

Not all themessage headers are reset by send method.. Take a lookat JMS Spec 3.4.11

That details what are set by send, by app server and by client.

For e.g. if u have a destination that needs to get the reply for a message sent, you could set it using the
JMSDestination header. The Consumer wud look at this property and send the reply to htis
destination.
