What is difference between java:comp/env/jdbc/SavingsAccountDB and java:SavingsAccountDB ?

Hello all: I found J2EE SPEC use "java:comp/env/jdbc/SavingsAccountDB" patterm to access EJB,but JBOSS use "java:SavingsAccountDB"? why? what are difference?
