I'm using Intellij 2.5.2 under JDK 1.3.1_03 on RedHat Linux 7.2 and 7.3. Using the code generation feature intermittently fails for me. If the variable selection menu comes up, it always works, but the menu comes up perhaps half of the times I try to use it. I've noticed no pattern to when it does or doesn't come up.

Do other people have this problem? And is there any way to work around it? I thought it was just me, but a hard drive failure just gave me the chance to completely reinstall and the problem persists.
