In javacard the processor and JVM are embedded, Why can't we use the javacard to acess the date stored on the card with the help of system's processor?
Why we are embedding the above two in the javacard.

and how would the processor know the date when the card isn't in the CAD ? The CAD provides the power source to the card.
That's why there is limited functionality. Limited processor.

And where would you propose to embed the JCRE ? in the CAD ? Remember the whole purpose of a smart card is the security functionality it provides. Without it, might as well use a floppy.
