hi expert, l'm using j2sdk1.4 in linux. l'm trying to run the java swing application, it returned me
with error "noclassdefound for javax/swing/jframe". where should i include into classpath ? it's swing
api included in j2sdk1.4 ? what else classpath should i include in ? it is working well with tomcat4 for servlet application. only problem when tried to compile and run
in java for swing application. please help..need urgent..thanks.

Probably your problem is not the CLASSPATH. In my opinion it is the PATH which is set to an older Java-Version. But the Path have to set to the "bin" directory of your new Java-Version.
