Right now I am working on J2EE platform (MVC architecture). We are using 7 layers. How best I can design the MVC architecture with less no of layers?? I am facing with the existing 7 layer (servlet, controller, event, ejb, bobject, entity, presentationobject) MVC architecture, we are not using the code reusability much. Anybody can help me to design my own coding architecture with layers (which satisfies the MVC architecture) including much code reusability .

This isn't the right forum for this, but the number and types of layers you use depends on your application requirements. Why are you using 7 layers?

Code reusability is (obviously) about reusing code. If you have code already written that you can use, use it. If you don't, you can't...
