OK, Hi everybody out there, here's my question: I wrote a custom Taglib with a cupple of tags. Among them are to tags, one loop defining itself as a scripting variable, and another one, which is parsing its body for HTML attributes to be written to the generated HTML-Tag. The latter is nested within the loop. Its body shall contain an access on this variable, i.e the scriptlet shall be evaluated and the result of this evaluation shall be parsed by the bodyContent-Handler of my custom tag. Now the problem is, I can't get access to this variable, I get the scriptlet as an string, i.e. the scriptlet doesn't get evalua   More>>

OK, Hi everybody out there,

here's my question:

I wrote a custom Taglib with a cupple of tags. Among them
are to tags, one loop defining itself as a scripting variable,
and another one, which is parsing its body for

HTML attributes to be written to the generated HTML-Tag.

The latter is nested within the loop. Its body shall
contain an access on this variable, i.e the scriptlet
shall be evaluated and the result of this evaluation
shall be parsed by the bodyContent-Handler of my custom tag.

Now the problem is, I can't get access to this variable, I
get the scriptlet as an string, i.e. the scriptlet
doesn't get evaluated properly.

The scope of the variable is NESTED, thus I would suppose
it should be evaluated within the body.

I hope this description is not to opaque...

Thanks a lot for your answer (if any) -

Best regards
