Bean class path on WL6.1

I am using the tag of jsp to call a bean on weblogic 6.1 server. I have a bean.class file.Where do i place it for the jsp to access it ? Are there ne class path settings to be done ?? I tried many combinations..did not succeed.
I have them in WEB-INFclasses but it s not working

Urgent...help...

The procedure u r following is OK.Just verify if the bean class is in a package. It has to be in a package and import the package in the page directive. And use the tag with proper case. i,e jsp:useBean. I think this is a strange problem in weblogic.

U place the bean files in the document root itself. Where JSPs and HTMLs are placed. Hope this helps u. If u hv further probs pl write me at kesavansrini@yahoo.co.in
