I'm working on a project and I'm using servlet and rmi technology to build an applet that should be a distributed html editor. At the start the user has to fill a form, then the servlet takes all the parameters and send them to the applet. The servlet is right, it takes all the parameters from the html page and send them to the applet through a stream, but the applet isn't able to receive them because it doesn't listen to the submit button. I tried to build an actionListener, but I don't know if there is a way to associate an applet to an HTML button (submit) using java actions. Any suggestion?
