The funny part is if I attempt to register this Naming Service as a Windows Service, and now attempt to start it from Windows Service Control Panel, it is starting .. at least Windows is showing so. Nevertheless, all attempts to start the small server fails when it tries to get the NameService reference.

If there's anyone who can help me here, I am grateful to the same person, beforehand.

Thanks and regards,

try to change the bootclasspath for your java command with:
java -Xbootclasspath/p:my_visibrokerpathvbjorb.jar
this will prepend the search path for java runtime bootclasses with your vbjorb.jar file (my_visibrokerpath should point to the directory containing vbjorb.jar).
I hope, this will help you.
