Hi I have a page in which it does some processing itself. It does have close button. There are two cases in which user can come to this page. When user press close, I should return to the same page he has come from. A session variable can be used for this. But I am curious to know that is there any other ways of doing it. Lets say there are 4 pages. P1, P2, P3 and P4 ( P4 is our page what we are talking about). Lets user come to P4 from p2. when user closes P4, it should go to P2. If user come to p4 from P3, after closing he should return to P3. any Ideas. Mallikarjun    More>>

You could use javascript's history.back() function.

You could also rely on a request variable from the previous page.
