When I install Sun Java Beans Bridge Version 1.0 on a Pentium IV this error message appears:

The following file(s) failed to self register
"C:program files dk ridgeclasses eans.ocx"

I have been told that the following will register the file:
"regsvr32.exe c:program files dk ridgeclasses eans.ocx"

But how do I check if the beans.ocx file has been registered or not ?

Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.

If there is no other, "canned" way (e.g. there is no "/v" for "verify" flag for "regsvr32"), you can always just search in the Registry yourself, using "regedit".
