Please don't laugh :-) We have a mixed java and
C++ environment. We already use the java tags
in our c++ code for documentation generation purposes.
Xdoclet features are impressive and it would be nice
to use on C++ too.

thanx

Nothing is impossible, but....

The latest xdoclet code (check out from cvs) uses its own parser (not using Sun's javadoc api any more). We use JavaCC and a Java2 grammar. So theoritically if you change the grammar to C++ and try to keep the rest of the api somehow compatible then you'll have a C++ compatible version of xdoclet. AFAIK we're not interested in implementing such a thing but if you do it then share it with us too ;-)
