The three things you can do in a Web application are
Create a form for each row, and put an
add/update/query/delete control next to each
Create a single form, and give each element for each row a unique name
Create a single form, using the same name for each element
Struts can handle the latter case by using an array for each element. You can then loop
the entries in each array to reconstruct the form.
Stuts 1.1 beta exposes a counter for the interate tag, which makes it easier to
contsruct unique names for each element in each row.
A fourth option is to use an Java applet instead of a HTML form, but that's outside the
scope of this forum.
Multirecord data entry screens are general Web programming problem, and also very
challenging. Your best source of information will be a book on advanced Web
development. Once a specific technique is chosen, it would be much easier to answer the
question of how to realize it in Struts.
