How do i use the extended Virtual Memory options while running in VA.
For ex I wanna specify
"java Xmx256m abc"

What is the equivalent of this in VA.

The VAJ VM does not provide options for setting min, max heap size, etc. Those kinds of tweaks are only really useful in a deployment environment - it would be much less useful to adjust those settings in an environment different from your deployment.
