Hi,

I used catalina.policy to grant file permission on a directory then I started TOMCAT with -security. But it does not work (my server run but it does not respond) because something is wrong with SSL : "Algorithm TLS is not available".

But I do not want to use SSL, I just want to be able to read file on my server with "a href".

How can I do that without catalina.policy in my jsp/html page ?

Or if there is no alternative how can -security works without TLS error ? What do I miss ?

Thanks

The HRef is something that is interpreted by the browser, so the client will look for that file on its drive(s), not on the server.
