I'm getting this when i'm running my C motif application which inturns calls a java methods using JNI,I'm getting the following garbage collector messages...Can anyone tell me what it is? - Thanks in Advance. GC[0] in 170 ms: (3072kb, 33% free) -> (3072kb, 61% free) GC[1] in 283 ms: (3072kb, 21% free) -> (3072kb, 58% free) GC[1] in 144 ms: (3072kb, 0% free) -> (3072kb, 54% free) GC[1] in 247 ms: (3072kb, 0% free) -> (3072kb, 53% free) GC[1] in 145 ms: (3072kb, 0% free) -> (3072kb, 53% free) GC[1] in 248 ms: (3072kb, 0% free) -> (3072kb, 53% free) GC[1] in 309 ms: (3072kb, 0% free) ->   More>>

This is verbose garbage collection output. Check the options that you used to start-up the JVM from your C application.



I've never used JNI to start-up my own VM from within another application, but I'd imagine that, like the command-line java VM startup process, you can specify verbose GC or not.
