I am building a reverse proxy server
which does the basic screens all
incoming http requests and perform
some basic housekeeping tasks (inc.
http client certificate auth).
This is basically a servlet
Once the request is deemed 'valid',
send it on to the appropriate
appserver running a second servlet
Question is: is it possible for the
first servlet to send along the client
certificate to the second servlet
in a regular HTTP session vs. HTTPS?
