Java Card 3.0?

Hi Carlos,


the next milestone is Java Card 2.2. A public draft of the specs has been posted on java.sun.com earlier this month.


As far as Java Card 3.0 goes, don't hold your breath. It's in the very early stages, so whatever you may have heard about it will probably change 10 times until the actual release :-)

By the way, how did you know there was going to be a JC 3.0 and not a JC 2.3 ?

Someone obviously leaked something to you that they weren't supposed to.

Not allowed to discuss it because of non disclosure. Anyone that does means they are a part of the JCF and in violation.

I would advise you to stay abreast of the JCF( http://www.javacardforum.org )
