KeyEvent and JtextArea ??? Manually generate KeyEvent ???

Hi to all!!! Please help in this matter.
I can generate a keyEvent in TextArea but when I use it in JTextArea it gives me a page long Exceptions. How to manually generate keyEvent in swing components.
