My qstn is....if my site's address is www. abc.com,
can I set an address ..say..www.xyz.com in the browser's address bar
when a client visits my site....I'm using servlets at the server side
...is this possible using javascript or servlets.
pls help...thanx in advance..

Yes, you can do this with something like response.sendRedirect("http://www.xyz.com/").



Although this is probably better handled by your web server. In Apache, for example, you would set up a virtual host for www.abc.com that has a line like


Redirect / http://www.xyz.com/


Which will automatically take care of redirecting any requests to the new URL.
