<java> task and classpath

hi,


i tried to start a java application from ant. i need to specify the classpath. i know, that i have to fork java, but it doesn't work. my code:

















if i run ant in verbose mode i see, that ant doesn't use the classpath. i get following output:



[java] Forking java -Xmx256M StartACS



with echo i checked, whether the ${CLASS_CP} is set. (and it is :))

Why do you have to fork? Does it work if you set fork to "no"? Just because CLASS_CP is set doesn't mean it is passed in... files and directories that don't actually exist are removed from the path before running the command.
