Tomcat 4.0 does not start

Hi, I have installed Tomcat 4.0 and the jdk 1.3.1 I have set the environment variables JAVA_HOME and CATALINA_HOMA. But when I start Tomcat, I have this error in the stdout.log : Create Catalina server Exception during startup processing java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/xml/sax/HandlerBase at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass0(Native Method) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) Thanks to help me.    More>>

Make sure that you have xerces.jar file in your classpath or in TOMCAT_HOMElib dir. Usually, I just set TOMCAT_HOME and JAVA_HOME in startup.bat file which is sffice to run tomcat.
