ie not reloading applet class

i am developing a java applet and am continually using ie6.0 to view my work as it progresses. however, ie6.0 doesn't always reload the most currently compiled version of the applet class.

what can i do to make sure the latest compiled applet class gets loaded?

From the control panel open the Java Plugin and clear also the cache there.
