I have a question regarding Tomcat 4.0.2 under RedHat 7.1. When I issue a shutdown command the system proceeds a normal shutdown until it reaches the killall command. When the command is issued the following is displayed: killall su(pam_unix([1706] session opened for user tomact by (uid=0) I assume that is root logging in via a PAM to stop tomcat. The problem is that it takes approx 4-5 minutes to get past this stage. Then it proceeds shutdown normally. Question: Is there anyway to expedite this? I am running on UPS and a quicker shutdown time would be great. Comments????    More>>
