JavaBean is for writing components.
Pros and Cons
1. The main advantage is the reusable code.
2. We can write the logical components as well as the database related statments and build a component.
3. Also helps in maintainability.
But the Bean should be written properly so that the actual advantage of the Bean can be achieved.
When to use JavaBean?
Mainly depends on the application Type.
Say for complex intranet application which has business logics, definetely Beans should be used.
Suppose the intranet application of having database activites, then also a Bean can be written to talk with the Database.
Almost prefarably to have JavaBeans.
In case of simple internet applications, then no need of JavaBeans.
