Can I use java card with sle5536 card

Hello guys

I´m working on a project, these are the

we use sle5536, st1355 cards
we use schlumberger reader
and finally we would like to use java card.

but the question is, it´s posible
using this kind of cards and this kind of reader.

It´s java card compatible whit any
kind of card that are ISO-7816 compliant, it´s not necesary use the cyberflex card from schlumberger if we want to use java card

Could you explain me a little bit

You can't use your SLE5536 and ST1355 cards for JavaCard project.

For a card to be JavaCard compliant, it needs to have a JavaCard interpretor embedded on it. And your cards don't have it.

It's not necessary to use the Cryptoflex, since other industrials (like Gemplus or Oberthur Card Systems) have also JavaCard.

You can also note that with the Cryptoplex, you are at a higher level : a card with a JavaCard platform (with all the JavaCard functionnalities) which uses the embedded JavaCard interpretor.

Hmmm, not sure I can help here. Looks like you should talk to Schlumberger !
