Juan,
You can't use your SLE5536 and ST1355 cards for JavaCard project.
For a card to be JavaCard compliant, it needs to have a JavaCard interpretor embedded on it. And your cards don't have it.
It's not necessary to use the Cryptoflex, since other industrials (like Gemplus or Oberthur Card Systems) have also JavaCard.
You can also note that with the Cryptoplex, you are at a higher level : a card with a JavaCard platform (with all the JavaCard functionnalities) which uses the embedded JavaCard interpretor.
