I'm very new to this, so I must have overlooked something, but please help me.
I'm deploying on Borland AppServer 4.5.1. One of my classes in my EJB extends an external class that resides in a jar file. I deployed my EJB using the J2EE Deployment Wizard in the AppServer Console. In step 2 I add the jar-file that contains the class I depend upon to the External Dependent Libraries path. The deployment goes well, but when I call my EJB whenever I try to create a new instance of my class I get an NoClassDefFound exception (pointing to the class from the jar file). But I listed that file when deploying, so why cannot it be found?
