Modal Problem in Swing Components

We are using Swing for developing a Application. We faced the modal problem, when dealing with internalframes.

We used internalframes, for errormessages, popups, confirmation box,etc...,

When a error message pops up, it is letting us to manipulate the mainform, which throws this popup/errormessage.

Please help us to overcome these modal problem.

Why not use JDialog or JOptionPane for your popups?? These can be modal to prevent any action to the parent window.
