I would like to add search facility in my application

i may have all kind of documents in my server. if i give any string to search, my application suppose to search in all of the available documents


All kinds of inputs are greatly welcome.

Lucene cannot search MS-Office documents out of the box currently, but there is some work being done in that area.


In the mean time, you can implement your own MS-Office document parsers.
