Hi. I have a trusted applet running in java plug-in 1.1. The applet saves a serialized object as say test1.tst file. However when I try and open it I get a secutity exception. Looks like the security manager is complaining that the object being created from the test1.tst is not trusted? How do I work around this problem. Can I use javakey to sign the test1.tst (looks like it only handles jars).
Thanks

It seems I had enableResolveObject set to true. If it is true, and there is a security manager installed, this method first calls the security manager's checkPermission method with the SerializablePermission permission to ensure it's ok to enable the stream to allow objects read from the stream to be replaced.
This was throwing Seciruty Exception.

But my applet was signed so could this be a bug in Java Plug-in 1.x?
