It should work if you follow the instructions.
have you copied the comm.jar and the javax.comm.properties to the lib dir & and the win32com.dll to the bin dir?
if so:
%JAVA_HOME%injava -classpath .;..;%CLASSPATH%;%JAVA_HOME%jrelibcomm.jarr
