How to evaluate, when the user reads a message ABSOLUTELY for the FIRST time ?

Objective is to check, when the user reads the message THE FIRST TIME for an IMAP account. The RECENT flag can't be set by the Client and once the folder is closed, immaterial of the fact, the user has read the message or not, the message wont have the RECENT flag. As per the documentation, for RECENT flag : This message is newly arrived in this folder. This flag is set when the message is first delivered into the folder and cleared when the containing folder is closed. Clients cannot set this flag. the user may close the folder without viewing the message and the said message wont have the RECENT flag anymore! The SEEN flag can be set by the user from the client so even if the message does'nt contain SEEN flag, DOES NOT necessarily mean that the User    More>>

The SEEN flag can be set by the user from the client so even if the message does'nt contain SEEN flag, DOES NOT necessarily mean that the User has'nt read the message. It may have been previously changed by the user.

So what is the right way of knowing that the message is being read ABSOLUTELY for the FIRST time.
