Hi everybody,
I use JBuilder 5.0 and BlueJ.
My system: Linux 2.4.7-10 (RedHat 7.2), X manager - Xfce (3.8.12-1) on XFree 4.0.3., SUN JDK 1.3.1_01.
Problem: When I put the text into my program (source window) sometimes I can't end it becouse any character don't appear in source window (both JBuilder and BlueJ). From that time I have to reload X manager (mouse works) and restart GUI - everything is OK! Where could I look for the solution of the problem?
Best Regards
There are'nt any problems under win2k.

The interactions between the Java AWT and X window managers have been a nasty problem - largely because there are so many different Window managers. I think recent releases have tried to straighten it all out, but I'm not sure.

Let me recommend the following: try varying all the parameters and seeing what happens. Try other desktop environments (KDE, Gnome), try other releases of the JDK (Sun's 1.3.1_02, Sun's 1.4.0 pre-release, or a JDK from the Blackdown organization). Please give those things a try and report your results.
