I use Idea with different projects.
Currently, when I start Idea it opens the project I used latest, scans for some time.
If I don't want to work with the latest project I have to wait, then close the just opened project and then opening the one I want to work on.
Can I provide the project file I want to use as a parameter?

How do you clear the reopen list in Intellij

My list has gone crazy approx 40
entries long. I can't even see the
top of the list

1. Tools | IDE Options | Reopen last project at startup

2. Yes, you can run IDEA with the specific project by typing: idea.bat drive:full path to yourproject.ipr

3. In Windows you can change program associated with .ipr extension (refer to windows help).
