We have an applet that displays images. Pretty basic stuff, except it doesn't work in Window 98.

In 98 the images are corrupted on display. The top 1/4 shows correctly and the bottom 1/4 shows correctly, but the middle part seems to be the last row of pixels from the first 1/4 are repeated continually until the bottom 1/4 is shown. The sizes are approximate, but seem to be pretty consistent.

One QA person described it as 'comb effect'.

Any ideas what might cause this? Nothing on the MSDN site that I could find about this.

Thanks, Chris

Does it fix itself when you resize the browser? How about if you force a redraw by dragging the window mostly off the screen, dropping it, and then dragging it back into view?

Which plug-in are you using and which browser? If it's an old Netscape, they have lots of problems. If not, I don't know what to tell you.

Good luck,
