I'm built a war but I'm not sure in what folder on the site to leave it in so it will work. Can someone please help me?

Which web container are you using? For Tomcat 3.x it is TOMCAT_HOME/webapps folder. After that you should restart Tomcat, so it can unpack your war file, and create context for your application.
