What is the use of javaw.exe ?

When i try to run a swing application in a new PC with windows-2000 installed,
i am getting a " javaw.exe" error.What could be the reason?

Javaw.exe is the version of the Java executable that runs your pogram without opening a console window (like java.exe does).
