I am new to Java and I want to study it from the begining, but I am live in Syria and I can not find any kind of help.

Please I want to how can I study alone and what is the best books I must study (I know just a few things about Java).

If there is an e-book in the web for free please let me know about it.

If there is books about JBuilder, let me know about it.

Thank you all for your work, I hope you will guide me.

Waitting for you.

Hi Fadel, U can follow Bruce Eckel's "Thinking in Java" which u can find out in google if u search. If it seems hard to you, a better introductory book may be Herb Shcildt's "Java The Complete Reference" of Tata-McGrawHill.

But for passing the exam these books are not good. Rather follow Khalid Mughal's "A Programmer's Guide To Java Certification" (best in my opine) and may be BPB's SCJP exam book well known as RHE....:=)

Wishes to you.
