How to check whether mail is sent to a particular id or not

Hi,
In my application, the helpdesk sends mails to different users based on the requests. But, the mail should not be sent to the same user till a particular amount of time if it has already been sent. How can i ensure this?

What you are after is beyond the "control" of the JavaMail API. You have to manage it yourself.
