Hi,



How can we represent data in graphs and
pi-charts from JSP's. I've large amount of data as a collection of java objects. But I need to present it visually. Guess, there are many third party components available readily. Can some one point me inthe right direction.

You can try out JFreeChart (open source, LGPL). JSP support is minimal, but the chart capabilities are good and it would be great if someone wants to contribute some JSP code to improve the library further.

Someone wrote a tag library recently that does all sorts of great charting. I can't remember its name, but I think I saw it here on JGuru a while back.



Do a google search on "graphing charting tag library" or something like that and see what turns up. I know this thing exists.



You'll have to pay for it, because its not an OpenSource project or anything. If you need graphing, though, you'll probably want to look into this. The charting options actually look quite good.

Simple Bar graphs can be drawn by using Tables itself.


No idea about Pie Charts.
